California Tax Day Freebies: Kona Ice Truck, Sbarro & The Los Angeles Dodgers Get In on Tax Day Fun
Tax Day is upon us again and if you haven't had a chance to take advantage of the great deals offered around the state, be sure to check in with Forbes to see if your favorite restaurant, travel destination, beauty shop or even home office store is offering free or discounted goods to make a your day a little less stressful.
As reported by NBC San Diego, there are many places around the area that will be offering free, or "buy one, get one free" types of deals.
For example, the Boston Market is offering the latter deal, where if you buy a meal, sandwich or combo, you also get one for free, but it excludes kids' meals.
The Hard Rock Café, however, is offering truly free meals. But there is a catch: You have to come in and "Sing for Your Supper," which the restaurant chain does annually on tax day. It is currently promoting the event on Facebook.
Another scenario is simple: a Kona Ice truck will be parked in front of post offices and/or tax prep services and when it is, you can get a free shaved ice or Hawaiian leis.
Los Angeles has quite similar deals as above, but they also include others as well, as reported on Go Banking Rates. A few that particularly stand out are the deals offered by Sbarro, the Los Angeles Dodgers and HydroMassage.
The Sbarro in the Del Amo Fashion Center is offering free slices of pizza to kids if you spend $5 dollars and show a picture of your kid with the Easter Bunny.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are also giving away free Jackie Robinson replica jerseys to the first 40,000 fans that arrive to their game against the Mariners on Tax Day.
You can also download this coupon and get a free massage from HydroMassage.

The PR Newswire reports that many post offices around the state have extended hours, which will include five in the Bay Area and six in southern California that are open until midnight.
