Is this the next Justin Bieber? 16-year-old David Thibault has developed a following of his own and taken the web by storm with his amazing vocals, solid guitar playing and good looks. The Elvis impersonator is all the rage right now. Why, well just checkout his video on YouTube. With 4.6 million hits and counting Thibault's rendition of Presley's 1964 hit song Blue Christmas is the hottest thing to come out of Canada this winter.

Thibault, a French-Canadian resident, played the cover song live on 102.1 CKOI, a Quebec radio station, last week. Thankfully someone had the sense to take out a camera and film the performance because it seems to good to be true! Any diehard Elvis fans would be kidding themselves if they didn't mistake Thibault's vocals for the King of Rock and Roll's.

The entire video minus the performance is spoken in French of course, but any person can see and hear the excitement in the host's voices. They applaud Thibault many times and openly gawk in admiration at him. They cannot believe what they are hearing and neither will you when you click on the video link below. What makes Thibault's performance all the more impressive is that he has a deep and powerful voice at such a young age. His hair and facial expressions even mimic the King himself. If this kid were older, he might have even been mistaken for Elvis.

Now Blue Christmas isn't a joyful holiday hit like Noel or We Wish You a Merry Christmas. But it's hard to feel sad at all hearing Thibault's voice. More amazing than his performance though are the sheer odds Thibault had to battle to gain recognition. UK publication the Daily Mail writes that there are over 200,000 Elvis impersonators around the globe. A quick look at Thibault's YouTube page showed that he has various videos posted of him performing those late Elvis' songs at various impersonation events. It's safe to say that this kid isn't a one hit wonder and an original song or two would be a great way to build his brand. Bieber better watch his back.
