Maybe it is true that the newlywed reality shows are cursed. Today, Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom are officially processing their divorce after four years of marriage. The first Kardashian to be married on television and to have her own newlywed show Khloé and Lamar, Khloé has ended her marriage due to "irreconcilable differences." Sources say that Lamar Odom is "fine with it".

TMZ reported early on Friday that Khloé had decided to file for divorce that day. Kardashian lawyer Laura Wasser filed the legal documents on Friday afternoon in L.A. On Thursday, Khloé, 29, posted a cryptic message on Instagram reading, "I am strong because I've been weak. I am fearless because I've been afraid. I am wise because I've been foolish." And indeed she is, as the very next day she moved forward with her life after a hard struggle to keep her marriage together. Lamar Odom had allegedly been unfaithful to the reality star and had caused her great stress after finding out about his addiction to crack. We watched this union fall apart the same way it once came together, through the family's show Keeping Up With The Kardashians to media tabloids and videos.

A source close to the NBA player tells US Weekly that "Lamar expected this. He is fine with it. He just wants it over swiftly and smoothly now. He's had time to come to terms with it". Khloé and Lamar's problems seem to have began earlier this year when Khloé realized that Lamar had a drug problem. Lamar was then arrested for a DUI in late August as the stories about his infidelities also came to light. Back in September, Odom took to twitter to rant about his "downfall," blaming his estranged father for it and calling the Kardashian family a "blessing." This was after his dad stated that Lamar had turned to drugs because of the pressure Khloé and the Kardashians had placed on him. Odom tweeted about his dad: "He disrespecting the ONLY FAMILY that has loved me without expecting anything in return. They are the ONLY ones that have been here consistently 4 me during this dark time". But the infamous video of Lamar rapping shirtless and dazed about cheating on Khloé put all finger-pointing to an end. It was clear that Lamar's actions were to blame for the couple's separation and that the marriage was officially over.

"He plans not to fight [the divorce] and just end it as soon as possible ... he just wants to move on with his life now," said the source about Lamar. On Friday after filing for divorce, Khloé was seen at the gym following her normal routine. Odom is currently training with hopes of returning to the NBA.
