Billy Joel, singer and songwriter of classic songs like "Piano Man," "Uptown Girl" and "We Didn't Start the Fire," is expecting a baby with longtime girlfriend Alexis Roderick.

According to Us Weekly, the 65-year-old singer and his 33-year-old girlfriend are expecting their first child together this summer. For the most part, the couple has kept the news and details under wraps, at least until their child is born.

Joel's representative said, "The couple, together since 2009, opted to keep any further details of her pregnancy under wraps until their new addition makes an official debut," Joel's representative said, E! News reports.

According to CBS News, Roderick has previously worked as a Risk Assessment Officer with Morgan Stanley and that she met Joel in a Long Island restaurant.

Joel, who was once married to model Christie Brinkley, has one other child -- singer-songwriter Alexa Ray Joel who is 29 years old. Brinkley is Alexa's mother and she is said to have kept close ties with Joel over the years.

Joel has been married three times. He was first married to Elizabeth Weber in 1973, but divorced in 1982. He then married Brinkley in 1985, but they also divorced in 1994, although they remained close. He was last married to Katie Lee, who was 23 at the time, in 2004. Brinkley attended the wedding and gave her blessing. Joel and Lee later divorced in 2009.

Alexa Ray and Roderick also seem to be getting along well.

As reported in the same E! article, Alexa posted a picture on Instagram while having dinner with her father and said, "People who give you their food give you their heart." Roderick would later chime in, "So sorry I missed it! It looks delicious! I picked basil for you guys before I left xxxxxx"

Joel is currently completing a month-to-month residency at Madison Square Garden with his next appearance scheduled for May 28. With any luck, the baby won't come early and preempt the show.
