The second trailer for “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens” was released Thursday.

The second teaser, as it is being called, released far more information about the highly anticipated movie, and brought back some of the original cast.

The second, longer teaser was released as part of the Star Wars Celebration, happening in Anaheim, California, and came as a surprise to fans. The video shows more of the world after the original trilogy, in which Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader were defeated. What remains of the Galactic Empire continues the fight.

Narrating the teaser, in part by Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker, sets up some background of the trilogy but it does not reveal to whom he is talking. However, we see more shots of what will happen in the film, which will definitely be very action-packed.

Something fans had not liked about the first teaser was that it did not show any of the original cast or even C-3PO or R2-D2, who transcended the original trilogy and appeared in the new trilogy as well as spin off kids’ shows.

However, this teaser corrected it, hinting at the background, showing the burnt Vader mask and R2, and finally giving Harrison Ford’s Han Solo the line: “Chewie, we’re home.”

John Boyega, who will play a character named Finn in the films, appears more in it and shows a sort of relationship with Daisey Ridley’s Rey. He also uploaded a photo of them to Twitter with Oscar Issac.

According to the Telegraph, J.J. Abrams, the film’s director and producer Kathleen Kennedy revealed more information about the upcoming movie. They said the rolling droid we have seen in now both trailers is called BB8 and the desert planet is not Tattooine but Jakku.
