Johnny Depp, Amber Heard Divorce & Relationship Rumors: Is Couple Headed for Break up Because of Heard's Photographer Friend?
"Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp and wife Amber Heard are reportedly experiencing marital woes rumored to be at least partly caused by her budding friendship with well-known photographer, iO Tillett Wright.
According to the New York Post, Depp and Wright were married on his private island in the Bahamas last February, but the honeymoon already seems to be over. Sources tell the newspaper "problems" already exist within their union, in part due to her friendship with Wright.
A noted activist in the gay and lesbian community, Wright is also known as the creator of the "Self Evident Truths" project, a compilation of more than 2,000 subjects who identify themselves as "anything other than straight."
The Post adds Heard is "openly bisexual." She and Wright became friends in 2012, and at one point, he moved into her and Depp's guest house.
Just the same, a source previously told the newspaper Depp "doesn't like iO" and has long believed she and Wright were spending too much time together. Eventually, Wright moved out of the couple's home and into his own residence.
Heard and Wright were recently spotted shopping together at a Tiffany's in New York, with sources insisting the two looked "cozy" together. During that same week, the two were also seen together attending the "Adderall Diaries" premiere after party in Tribeca.
Last weekend, Heard celebrated her 29th birthday at the Paramount Hotel in Midtown viewing "Queen of the Night" with Wright, Ashley Olsen and others.
"All the ladies stole the dance floor after the show, slow dancing with each other and twirling each other around," a source told the newspaper. "It was a no-boys-allowed kind of night."
Reps for Depp, Heard or Wright have yet to publicly comment.
The 51-year-old Depp was previously married to makeup artist Lori Allison for two years and has two young children with former girlfriend Vanessa Paradis.
