The annual stress and anxiety starts to flare up right around this time of year when you just cannot figure out what to buy for holiday gifts.

The good news is that you still have more than a week remaining until Christmas. We have provided you with a list of ideas to get your brain thinking on the right track towards that unique, special gift. Today we'll be focusing on what to buy for women since so many gifts in our culture tend to be separated based on gender.

Many people say that shopping for women is difficult because they tend to be extremely particular about what they want. Of course, you could easily fix that by buying a gift card, but that takes the fun out of the entire thing because then there is no surprise.

We've come up with a list of things to consider buying for her this holiday season:

1. Bath items -- Anything related to bath items makes for a great gift regardless of whether the person you are buying the gift for is a man or woman. It's a necessity rather than just an extra thing that someone might not really like -- you can't go wrong.

2. Tablet -- When I say 'tablet' this also means other devices that fall into the same category. Depending on the gift recipient's preferences or purchasing history, you will know exactly which one to buy. If the person is a big fan of Apple and only buys Apple products, maybe go with an iPad Mini.

3. Summertime accessories -- Just because Christmas is in the wintertime does not mean you have to buy her a winter jacket. Think ahead towards summer and think back to the person's favorite summertime activities. Some new summer time clothes, hats, and even more.

4. Books -- Everyone loves a good book. Take a peek at her bookshelf to see what kinds of books she is into. If you are really not sure, buy a book that would be related to some of her favorite activities. Or even surprise her with a bestselling book from the past year that she is not aware of and maybe she'll really enjoy it.

5. Food -- Surprise her with a delicious dinner during the season to help spread the holiday cheer. Or even better yet, buy some delicious food online that can be shipped to your door by the holidays.
