The Season 1 finale of "Forever" finds Dr. Henry Morgan and Adam "on a long, unrelenting collision course," which could end in one man's death.

According to Broadway World, the episode, entitled "The Last Death of Henry Morgan," also finds the Doctor and Det. Joe Martinez scrambling to uncover the mystery of an ancient dagger used in both Julius Caesar's assassination and Adam's first death.

All the while, Adam uses Henry's desire that Jo never uncover his mystery as leverage in his ongoing battle with him. The website adds: "The two men tangle in a tumultuous game-changing confrontation."

ABC also reports the May 5 episode finds Henry totally desperate to find the "love of his life," Abigail, soliciting the help of Lucas to do so. In springing into action, not only does Henry neglect to tell Abe about his latest exploits, he also elects not to tell the battery of detectives also assisting him in his search about his relationship with Abigail, leaving the officers to assume they are simply on a mission to locate hunt Abe's mom.

 Forever" stars Ioan Gruffudd as Henry, Judd Hirsch as Abe, Alana de la Garza as Det. Jo Hernandez, Lorraine Toussaint as Lt. Joanne Reece, Donnie Keshawarz as Det. Hanson and Joel David Moore as Lucas.

Written by Matt Miller and Chris Fedak, and directed by Brad Anderson, "The Last Death of Henry Morgan" guest-stars John Noble as Aubrey Griffin, Mackenzie Mauzy as Abigail Morgan, Burn Gorman as Adam, Mike Houston as Ken and Angel Desai as Diane Clark.

The ABC-aired series premiered during the 2014-2015 fall season. According to Spoiler TV, earlier this year, fans began waging an online petition campaign aimed at trying to secure a full second season of episodes.
