"Pitch Perfect 2" and the Barden Bellas are heading to the big screen -- and they are bringing some serious pitches!

In the opening scene of new featurette "A Look Inside," which features the cast and Director Elizabeth Banks, Australian comedic actress Rebel Wilson has everyone in stitches with her hilarious entrance - as her stitching literally comes undone!

While performing Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball," Wilson, who plays "Fat Amy," is anything but graceful as she attempts to sway from the rafters above the stage. The material holding her up rips along with her leotard, which then exposes her to the audience.  

Needless to say, the Barden Bellas continue to bring the laughs, the beats, and even fiercer dance moves and musical numbers in "Pitch Perfect 2," the follow-up to 2012's smash hit. 

The comedy is helmed by Banks, co-star and producer of "Pitch Perfect," and produced by Paul Brooks, Max Handelman and Banks. Writer Kay Cannon also returns to the team to pen the next chapter. 

"The first movie was about them coming together. This film is about the legacy that you leave behind," Banks explained.

Along with Wilson and Banks, the hilarious cast includes: Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin, Adam DeVine, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Ester Dean, Hana Mae Lee and Hailee Steinfeld with John Michael Higgins and Katey Sagal.

While the Barden Bellas are now three-time champs, they get suspended from competing at the collegiate level and have to then win back their place in the "acappella pantheon."

"We really become the underdogs once more," adds Wilson.

The ladies go to the World Championship, where they take on new rivals--including German foes Das Sound Machine, with whom they have a serious rap battle.

"They are just, like, machines," Wilson said about the German vocal powerhouses. "They're crazy hard to beat."

Wilson adds that she's a force to be reckoned with when compared to her American team: "They're going to look at Team USA and be like why is the most talented one Australian?"

American or Australian -- "Everybody just goes for it in this one," Snow said.

"Pitch Perfect 2," which kicked off the film convention CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Monday, hits theaters May 15.
