The star set to play Christian Grey of Fifty Shades of Grey, Jamie Dornan is now a dad!

The actor who agreed to replace the film adaptation's first choice Charlie Hunnam is now celebrating another milestone in his life that more valuable than any other achievement he can work hard for as an actor, and that is to be a father. Together with wife, Amelia Warner, Jamie welcomed his first child into the world sometime last week, Express UK reports.

Sources from US Weekly gave the confirmation of the arrival of the actor's newborn but no other details about it were revealed. It was in June when he was reported that his wife was expecting their first baby. A paparazzi photo was even taken as they were strolling together with his wife pregnant.

According to Belfast Telegraph UK, the couple was married in Somerset in April and they are rumored to spend Christmas in Vancouver so as to be closer to the shooting locations of the first few scenes of the highly anticipated film adaptation of the erotic book series.

Jamie Dornan started earning a name in the industry when he became a Calvin Klein model. He also once dated Pirates of the Caribbean actress Keira Knightley. It can be assumed that his wife Amelia was definitely in good hands during the entire term of the pregnancy since Jamie's dad and stepmom work in the medical industry as gynecology and obstetrics consultants within Northern Ireland.

On other news, the Fifty Shades of Grey cast and crew has already moved to UBC for the shoot of the book's graduation scenes. It was photographer Susan Gittins who posted over Twitter the crew shooting in the Liu Institute for Global Issues on Monday. Huffington Post recently reported too that both Fifty Shades of Grey lead stars, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson were seen shooting the café scene.
