The LG G4 will debut next week in Korea, making improvements on the LG G3 smartphone. The U.S. debut is not yet scheduled but should be shortly after, according to TechRadar.

The official unveiling of the LG G4 will take place on April 28. This is also expected to be the day that other release dates are announced.

The LG G4 is the successor to the G3. Many features, especially the camera have improved since the last model.

The new smartphone is expected to use a full-metal body with a laser autofocus and dual-LED flash on the camera. The power button and volume control is expected to be on the back of the device.

Early dimensions have the device measuring in it 148.9 x 76.5 x 9.9mm, making it slightly larger than the G3.

The screen on the LG G4 will be a QHD IPS Quantum Display that will be 25 percent brighter and have a 20 percent wider color range than the G3. The size of the screen could be 5.6 inches, TechRadar reports from a leak provided by a reputable source on Twitter.

The screen on the LG G4 is expected to provide a resolution of 1440 x 2560.

LG announced that it will have the "widest aperture camera developed for a smartphone." The f/1.8 aperture is the best rating for a cell phone camera yet. This means that the camera will be able to take excellent photos in low-light conditions, allowing 80 percent more light in than the G3. Fast moving objects will be easier to snap too with the new camera.

The new camera will be increased from the 13 MP it had on the G3 to 16 MP. The camera's lens will also be twice the size of the lens found in the G3.

Android Lollipop 5.0, Android's latest operating system, will be included right out-of-the box on the G4.

Other rumors state that a last minute addition of a fingerprint sensor could be added to the back of the device. LG has denied this, but both Apple and Samsung are currently offering fingerprint sensors and LG might want to do the same.
