"Mama June" Shannon says her daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson has changed her lifestyle after critics warned the 35-year-old mother about allowing her daughter to have a poor diet, In Touch Weekly reports.

The child star had an obesity intervention nearly two months.

"It is going good she hasn't lost or gained any weight but is eating better," Mama June said on Facebook.

She added that the 9-year-old reality TV star is juicing to receive proper vitamins and nutrients that she did not get in her former poor diet.

Mama June posted an Instagram photo of a green drink to let fans know about her successful juicers.

She captioned the post, "If u r looking for some good juice to get healthy and it's all organic try my personal trainers signature juices they are awesome coming from someone who doesn't like green vegetables I love them I like the green and orange ones and they work I lost 7 pds in a wk."

Physicians prescribed a weight loss diet for Honey Boo Boo after diagnosing her with obesity in an appearance on "The Doctors" talk show, Entertainment Online reports.

Mama June agreed to support her daughter on the new lifestyle while nutritionist Jeanne McDaniel and Dr. Rachael Ross checks on the child to see if she is sticking with the diet.

"There are a lot of meals that have been left over from some weeks that just can make you wonder if she's snacking on other items -- especially at school," Jeanne said.

Experts say Honey Boo Boo should lose 12 - 25 pounds to help curb her obesity and her asthma.

Mama June continues to let people know that she has been supporting her child's new lifestyle although Jeanne does not believe it.

"It appears that Alana is just kind of doing this on her own right now," she said.

Honey Boo Boo was 125 pounds and 4 feet 6 inches during her last checkup.
