As reported by Spoilers Guide, "Person of Interest" is back on April 28 with the episode "Asylum."

Elias (Enrico Colantoni) and Dominic (Winston Duke) are two rival crime bosses. Reese and Fusco get caught in between their unstable situation and these two POIs are about as unpredictable as anyone can imagine. As we already know, Reese will eventually die, as pointed out in the series pilot. So, this far into the season and no word yet on another renewal for Season 5, this could be the one.

We will also see that a clue leads us to Shaw's whereabouts. But it could also lead Finch and Root into a trap. Control (Camryn Manheim) also goes rogue in this episode. She looks to find the true intentions of the Samaritan.

In an interview with show creator and executive producer Jonah Nolan on The Hollywood Reporter, he touted how Reese's character was probably not going to pursue another line of work, considering they have touted him as struggling in the career.

"Point of fact, he's probably not going to stray too far from the occupation he's brought to this point," Nolan told The Hollywood Reporter. "Even if coming out of this episode there's a little more emotional clarity for him, he's still living in a world in which two gods are now at war with one another, and whether he wants to hang up his hat or not may be irrelevant."

Nolan recommended watching the upcoming episode in a car to take advantage of the seatbelt and airbags. He indicated that things within the A.I. war were going to end badly for our guys, which leaves the season ending in a mess.

He also had a few things to say about Root (Amy Acker).

"Root's a really complicated character," he said. "Amy Acker is one of our favorite people in the whole wide world, an amazing collaborator and actor, just devours everything we put in front of that character, so we've got a lot of twists and turns left for her."
