Whether the Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors are true or not, they still can't be stopped from spreading online. Newest reports indicate that AT&T is testing the much talked about device to make sure that it is compatible with their network.

It was a tech informant with twitter name @evleaks who made the claim that the mentioned carrier network already has its hand on the model device to conduct internal testing. IB Times also reported that model number SM-G900A was the alleged unit used for the test, but other model numbers SM-G900S and SM-G900F were also related to the Galaxy S5.

Sammobile.com also noted that AT&T and Samsung may be working on a potential partnership which will allow the carrier to gain exclusive access to the newest devices of the Korean tech company.

More model numbers are expected to come up along with other Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors.

Tech Radar adds that according to a Korean site, the company is also trying out a "diamond metal surface treatment technology" to come up with a coat that is resistant to scratch. The process includes blasting carbon under high temperatures, similar to how diamonds are made.

While this doesn't mean that users will have a diamond coated phone, but just a special coating to shield the rumored metal case that the Samsung Galax S5 will be made in. Other sources are also giving it some thought that if the metal chassis cover rumors will be realized, then it can also mean biggest cost for Samsung to spend on without reaping numerous benefits from the move.

For the past several days, other Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors include the possibility of an eye scanning feature along with a 2K display, according to NDTV Gadgets.

Notably, these latest rumors have not received any confirmation from Samsung.
