Numerous concepts for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have been getting viral attention online even if the rumored launch of the device is seen to happen by the latter part of 2014. The most talked about rumored features of the new Samsung device include a tougher material to make it shock-resistant, size bigger than the iPhone 5s, and the use of transparent glass that implements conductive technology, IBTimes wrote.

GottaBeMobile reported that it was Samsung who confirmed about the inclusion of 64-bit processors for their devices to be released by 2014. This announcement was made when Apple placed a 64-bit A7 processor in their latest iPhone 5s.

Surely, the features and apps that the future Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have can be experienced better by the users if the Korean tech company will push through with their 64-bit processors. Samsung can also possibly bring in a better camera for the Note 4 since several Galaxy S5 rumors lead to the potential of the inclusion of a 16MP sensor. It was ETNews who reported that a 20MP sensor can come aboard after the second quarter of 2014 transpires.

On the other hand, The Epoch Times wrote that both the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S5 will limit their costs of production by choosing to go for LCD panels. ET News reported that the PLS panels can be the more affordable replacements of the AMOLED panels. It can help Samsung save up to 20 percent in the line of production costs.

The PLS or Plane to Line Switching panels have been used in other Samsung devices already like the Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Nexus 10. But the decision to place it for the coming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 is still not finalized. A blog from G for Games also emphasized that the mentioned panels can be advantageous especially for those who use S-Pens.
