WIth just 39 days to go until the November elections, President Barack Obama and GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney are vying for Latino votes in newly released Ads.

"Yo sé que nuestra comunidad tomará la decisión correcta," the ad said. "Ya no se trata de 'sí se puede', se trata de 'cómo se puede'." ("I know that our community will make the right decision. It isn't about 'yes we can', it's about 'how we can.")

The ad will run in Florida and features Puerto Rico Gov. Luis Fortuno, popular within the party.

Puerto Ricans make up 28 percent of Florida's Hispanic eligible voters - second only to Cubans voters in Florida.

President Obama made his pitch to Latino voters, urging them to register to vote.

"Register today to make sure Romney doesn't shut these doors," the ad said in Spanish. Register to vote before October 9th Visit votemostodos.org, votemostodos.org. And together, let's defend our future."

The president needs high turnout from Latinos in order to win in key battleground states like Colorado and Florida. A record 12.2 million Latinos are expected to vote in November. Obama leads Romney among Latinos by 45 percentage points, according to the latest numbers from Latino Decisions.
