The Pebble Watch allows for phone flexibility, according to Engadget. Unlike the Apple Watch, which is only compatible with an iPhone, the Pebble Watch can be used with both iPhones and Android phones. 

The Apple Watch offers a speakerphone and a microphone, something that the Pebble Watch does not offer. 

If price is a barrier, the Apple Watch could cause many to cringe. The cheapest Apple Watch starts at $350 and that is for the low-end model. The Pebble Watch starts at only $99 and a steel version can be purchased for $199, still cheaper than the Apple Watch.
