Jennifer Lawrence & Prince Harry Relationship Rumors: 'Hunger Games' Actress Allegedly Declined a Date with Prince Harry
Jennifer Lawrence likes British men. She has dated Nicholas Hoult and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. But she reportedly turned down the opportunity to date royalty from across the pond -- Prince Harry.
The 30-year-old royal is smitten with the "The Hunger Games" star, reports Contact Music. The prince attempted to arrange a dinner date with Lawrence, 24, who politely declined. This isn't the first time Prince Harry has allegedly tried to court the actress. In 2013, Perez Hilton reported that he tried to arrange a romantic date with her in New York.
"Jennifer's his No. 1 girl right now," a source told Perez Hilton. "Harry thinks Jennifer is a girl after his own heart -- very chill and out for a good time. Harry is looking for a serious relationship and is ready to settle down. And the way he's thinking right now, he could end up with a Hollywood wife."
Is the prince persistent or is the gossip mill proliferating rumors? In February, the Australian women's weekly magazine, Woman's Day, started the rumor that Prince Harry and Emma Watson were secretly dating. Watson denied the rumors in a Twitter post.
Meanwhile, Lawrence continues her off-and-on relationship with Martin who recently finalized his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow.
In March, Lawrence and Bradley Cooper attended the premiere of their film "Serena" together, prompting romance rumors. The A-list actors, whose onscreen chemistry made "Silver Linings Playbook" a hit, insist they are only friends.
In a Vanity Fair interview, Lawrence joked that the secret to her long-lasting friendship with Cooper was "no sex."
"Honestly, it's just happenstance," Cooper told Vanity Fair of working frequently with Lawrence. "We both got cast in 'Silver Linings,' and she was going to this other movie and the role was open and so that worked out."
