Wednesday’s Powerball is here.

Last Saturday’s numbers were: 21, 33, 35, 38 and 45; the Powerball was 12.

As with the previous week, there were no jackpot winners so the money has rolled over and is now up to $60 million, which has a cash value of $39.9 million.

There were 402,209 regular winners, and $2,522,937 in non-jackpot money awarded.

When people play Powerball, oftentimes they employ a kind of strategy.

For Aida Chua, a recent winner, that strategy was simple routine.

Every week Chua purchase Powerball tickets on Wednesdays and Saturdays; two per draw. And all that repetition finally came to lucrative fruition as lottery officials announced that Chua had won $2,663,348 in the Saturday, April 18 drawing.

As reported by a local NBC affiliate Chua has asked her sister to buy the tickets at a Southern California Vons store near her sister's place of work.

As Chua explained to the lottery officials, a Vons employee actually came over and told her sister that they might be winners.

The Southern Californian supermarket will receive a bonus of $13,316, or what amounts to .5 percent of the prize.

"I was so happy I had to call all my family and tell them after I double checked the numbers,” said Chua. Those lucky numbers, save Powerball number, were all inspired by birthdays.

Officials have announced that Chua plans to now open up a business and travel to Europe with her family.

The chances of winning the Powerball grand prize are 1 in 175,223,510.00.

The odds of Chua matching up all numbers except the Powerball number was about 1 in 5.1 million.
