R&B singer Ciara and Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson made their first public appearance together at the White House State Dinner on Tuesday, reports TMZ.

For the formal event, Ciara, 29, looked stunning in a champagne-colored silk Walter Mendez gown that complimented her hourglass figure. The handsome quarterback, 26, looked dapper in a black tuxedo for the evening.

Rumors started that Ciara and Wilson were dating when they were allegedly seen together at a Seattle Mariners game last weekend, reports E! Online. Fans on Twitter identified the woman sitting next to Wilson at the game as Ciara. Shortly thereafter, Wilson named Ciara as "his date" on the guest list for the 2015 White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington.

"Their relationship is brand new and Ciara is treading lightly because her main focus right now is her album and her 'Juicy Man,' which is the nickname she has for her son," an insider told HollywoodLife. "Russell knows that is her focus and she loves that he isn't rushing anything. Russell is grabbing her heart by taking things slow and just focusing on having fun and not getting in the way of her being a mother first."

Wilson is the first man Ciara has publicly stepped out with since her split in August from ex-fiancé Future, 31, the father of her 1-year-old son, Future Zahir Wilburn. The couple briefly reconciled, but Ciara reportedly ended her engagement to Future due to a cheating scandal in October 2014, according to HollywoodLife.

The break up with Future does not appear to be amicable. Lyrics to her song "I Bet" released in January are rumored to be aimed at Future.

The lyrics read, in part, "You know that it hurts your pride / But you thought the grass was greener on the other side / I bet you start loving me / As soon as I start loving someone else / Somebody better than you."

Wilson, who divorced his wife Ashton Meem Wilson last year, has also dated Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition model Samantha Hoopes.
