Justin Bieber allegedly only contacted on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez recently for a hook up.

"Justin reached out to Selena immediately after he heard about her ending things with Zedd," a source previously revealed to HollywoodLife.com. "Not so much to try and hook up, but to check in with her."

Despite what the source claimed before, the Canadian pop star seemed to have other intentions -- not so much innocent ones. Another source said that he has been texting "The Heart Wants What It Wants" crooner lately and is desperate to see her in person, because he feels lonely.

The source says he either wants to meet at his place or somewhere they can exist in secret. 

The latest source told HollywoodLife.com Bieber is not willing to commit to a serious relationship with Gomez, explaining he is trying to call the shots as to when teh two meet or talk. He supposedly wants to get his way regardless of the outcome.

The source added the "Boyfriend" singer wants to be intimate, but he isn't interested in being in a relationship with her. Negatively affecting his relationship with his ex-girlfriend was not something he was supposedly concerned about. 

In the meantime, Bieber might be playing mind games with Gomez by completely ignoring her and sometimes flirting with models on social media.

For instance, the "Baby" hitmaker seemingly asked the "I Want You to Know" singer on a date at an upcoming boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas this weekend.

However, Bieber did not follow up on the plan with Gomez, who consequently became frustrated and confused with his "mixed messages."

What is even more upsetting to the "Come & Get It" singer is that her former lover has talked about inviting her alleged enemies, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin, to the popular match. 

"Selena would have gone with Justin, but not with him, Kendall and Hailey," an insider told HollywoodLife.com. "There's no way on earth that would ever happen."
