Teresa Giudice's Daughters Reportedly Not Taking Her Incarceration Well, 5-Year-Old Suffers 'Meltdowns' When Jail Visits End
Prison life has been hard on more than just "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice
According to RadarOnline, Giudice's youngest daughter, 5-year-old Audriana, is reportedly taking the reality of her mother being away so hard she recently suffered a "crying meltdown" when it was time to go following her first jailhouse visit with her mom.
Giudice is currently serving a 15-month sentence at the Danbury Federal Correctional Institute on fraud related charges. Giudice's husband, Joe, was also convicted on similar charges and is slated to begin doing a near four-year bid after Giudice has been released.
"She was crying," the source told the website of the young child. "Just like a typical kid who didn't want to leave her mother. If you have kids, you know how they are when their mother leaves."
Meanwhile, with her mom expected to be away until at least December, several media outlets have recently reported the couple's oldest daughter, 14-year-old Gia, "is being forced to grow up way too fast."
A source added not only is the teen being called on to help out with the rearing of her younger siblings, but is also feeling pressured into helping her struggling family out financially.
"She's balancing her home responsibilities with her fledgling music career with the group girl 3KT, and doing media appearances and interviews," the source added. The formally is reported to be as much as $13 million in debt.
Gia's grades are also reported to have slipped and, in recent times, some of her attire has raised looks of concern.
"There were several comments about how Gia dresses like, 'I wouldn't let my daughter out of the house in that,'" the source alleged to Radar. "They were just too revealing. They weren't age appropriate."
The couple have two other daughters, Gabriella, 10, and Milania, 9.
