In "The Returned" Episode 9, "Helen," Rowan Blackshaw warns Lena Winship to watch her back around Camille Winship. In the previous episode, the Winship twins repaired their relationship. Lena apologized to Camille. What could this warning be about?

Julie Han keeps Victor around despite Nikki telling her that he was killed three decades ago. Concerned, chief deputy Nikki Banks launches an investigation into Victor's past. She visits the neighbor of a woman who died in a fire after bringing home a mysterious boy.

"After your neighbor's death, your statement to police was that the fire wasn't accidental -- that it had been started by a young boy she had taken in," Nikki said in the sneak peek video clip.

"That's right. The cops did not believe me. They said it was a gas leak," the woman said.

"That boy, what do you remember about him?" Nikki asked.

The woman tells Nikki that the woman called him Eric. She never knew his real name. He didn't talk.

"I told Monica there was something wrong with him -- that he was troubled. But she didn't listen. She wanted to take care of him anyway," the woman said, and adds, "He burnt her house down with both of them in it."

In the next scene, Nikki is leaving the woman's house. She calls Julie.

Victor, who is inside Julie's home, answers her vibrating cell phone.

"Julie?" Nikki asked.

Victor listens for a moment, doesn't speak and hangs up.

It seems unreal that Victor would hurt Julie, especially since he protected her in the last episode. While he was with her at the police station to identify evidence, Victor caused Tony Darrow to imagine his mother shaming him, resulting in Tony killing himself in front of the police.

Meanwhile, Simon Moran springs back to life at the morgue and returns home.

"I died, now I have to watch everyone move on without me," he told Rowan Blackshaw.
