Miranda Cosgrove might be ready for her closeup, but she's been keeping busy in the meantime.

The former "iCarly" star has been using her Instagram account to update on her life. Her latest post shows off her dog, who she says is ready to become a human.

"Penelope is making the full transformation into a human," she said.

Cosgrove also recently shared a picture of what she described as the "cutest bandaid" on Instagram, but she did not explain why she needed the bandage.

According to HollywoodLife, the former "iCarly" star recently revealed she is planning a return to television with a with a new series, her first TV project since her first show went off the air more than two years ago.

The 21-year-old Cosgrove recently tweeted a photo of herself alongside Mia Serafino and Carrie Preston that she captioned, "Had so much fun today filming a new project."

Deadline has previously described her as-yet untitled project as a "comedy being shot for NBC" where a pair of recent empty-nesters are lest to deal with both their children and their parents moving back in.

The show is created by Suzanne Martin, the one-time producer of such comedic hits as "Ellen" and "Fraiser." It is also slated to star former "Rules of Engagement" star Patrick Warburton and Preston.

In a recent J-14 interview, Cosgrove also hinted that a reunion movie starring the entire "iCarly" could too soon be on the horizon.

"It would be fun to do some day," she said. "I think all of us are kind of hoping that in 10 to 15 years, after the events of the last episode we figure out where everybody went -- because everybody kinda got split up by the end of the show."

Beyond that, Cosgrove told the J-14 she truly sees herself doing another TV show, but she would like for it to be a bit more adult like.

"I want to try to grow and do something new, so [I'd like to do a show that's] a little more mature," said Cosgrove, who at least up until recently was also a full-time student at the University of Southern California.
