Miranda Cosgrove gushed over a little fan of hers via Instagram over the weekend.

"Met the cutest little girl yesterday! She was dressed as my character, Margot, from 'Despicable Me,'" she captioned the post.

Cosgrove announced her return to television recently through an Instagram post, expressing her excitement of playing in the "Suzanne Martin Project."

The former Nickelodeon star is returning to TV nearly two years since the TV show "iCarly" went off the air, HollywoodLife.com reports.

"iCarly" was a regular Nickelodeon show from 2007 to 2012. The series featured a young girl named Carly who hosted her own web show from her home called "iCarly."

The webcast featured comedy sketches, talent contests, recipes, problem-solving and more while Carly's sidekick Sam, played by Jennette McCurdy, played a co-host on the web show.

Sam and Carly's best friend Freddy, played by Nathan Kress, was the camera guy and tech person for the web show and had a super crush on Carly.

Cosgrove has been missed since the popular "iCarly" went off the air and fans will have to wait and see what she has to offer in the new Suzanne Martin pilot.

It is unclear what role Miranda Cosgrove will play in NBC's untitled Suzanne Martin pilot, according to Deadline.

Patrick Waburton is set as the male lead in the show which tells a story of how things backfire for recent empty-nesters Mike Gunn and Martina Gunn when their children and parents move back home.

Miranda Cosgrove told J-14 back in January that she really wanted to return to TV and try something new by steering away from Nickelodeon.

"I want to try to grow and do something new, so [I'd like to do a show that's] a little more mature," she said.

The new pilot just might channel the NFL Tweens/Junior Apparel celebrity ambassador's more mature side.
