Chiquis Rivera will take part in a tribute concert to her late mother Jenni Rivera called "Jenni Vive! 2015" on July 2. The family event will feature performances by singers including Chiquis and Becky G, La Opinion reported, according to Univision sources.

Jenni Vive! 2015 will be held in Long Beach, California, where Jenni Rivera was born. The performance will take place at Marina Vista Park. 

Chiquis Rivera will be one of the eight confirmed performers. More performers will be announced in the coming weeks. Chiquis said she has already began preparing for the event.

"I am very happy. I am going to start preparing," Chiquis said.

Becky G will also perform at the event "because she is Jenni Rivera's fan, and she represents for us the future of pop music in English," Juan Rivera, Jenni Rivera's brother, said.

Juan said that the family plans to have a yearly concert for the next 10 years to honor Jenni Rivera and raise money for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. 

If the upcoming concert is anything like those in the past, performers will be featured from all sorts of genres.

"My sister crossed different genres, including pop, bachata," Juan said before a tribute concert held in December. "She even sang reggaeton, so we will also include those genres. The concert will also benefit upcoming artists, who will hopefully get a lot of promotion and great visibility." 

The Riveras have worked hard to honor Jenni with concerts and even a movie that will be a tribute to her life. The family also wants to release some previously unpublished music.

Juan spoke about the movie.

"It's something that we're doing slowly because we want to do something special, something very well done," he said. "We don't want the movie to be about Jenni the singer, or the artist. We want it to be more than that. We want it to be an inspirational movie, of the woman who didn't know how to be beaten. She knew how to confront her problems in life and even though there were many blows, she knew how to overcome it and move forward."
