The E! Network is planning to air a two-part special on Bruce Jenner and his recent transition "into living life as the person he's always known himself to be."

According to Variety, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce," will premiere on May 17 and will feature "intimate interviews and conversations" with several members of the Kardashian family. Just last month, the 65-year-old Bruce sat down for a one-on-one with Diane Sawyer on "20/20."

The E! special is also being billed as a production that "will take an earnest look at the family's struggle to process their own feelings" stemming from the former Olympic gold medalist transformation.

It's reported Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie all speak candidly about Bruce and how they've come to support him, even through their sometime early confusion. Family members are also on record in asserting that they are hoping to help other families who may be experiencing some of the same issues.

The special is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions and Ryan Seacrest Productions, with Bruce serving as an executive producer along with Jonathan Murray, Gil Goldschein, Jeff Jenkins and Farnaz Farjam.

Kris and her daughters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, also serve as executive producers. Following the E! special, Bruce is also slated to headline an eight-part docuseries that will premiere on July 26.

During his interview with Sawyer, Bruce told ABC, "For all intents and purposes, I'm a woman. People look at me differently. They see you as this macho male, but my heart and my soul and everything that I do in life -- it is part of me. That female side is part of me. That's who I am."

Bruce later added he is now convinced his brain is even now more "female than it is male."
