'The Originals' Season 2 Episode 21 Spoilers: Klaus Teams Up With Dahlia, Seeks Revenge Against his Siblings in 'Fire With Fire' [Watch]
Things will really heat up on Monday night's episode of "The Originals" when Klaus forms an alliance with Dahlia and goes on a rampage seeking vengeance against his siblings.
In a sneak peak video of the new episode, which is entitled "Fire With Fire," Rebekah discovers that Klaus' lifeless body is no longer lying in the coffin they put him in after they stabbed a dagger through his heart. It turns out Dahlia used her power to resurrect Klaus.
Executive producer Michael Narducci revealed that Dahlia "has convinced [Klaus] that the best way to save his child is to team up with her and to stand against his own family."
Meanwhile, a vengeful Klaus turns against his family for stabbing him in the heart -- literally. He is also "out for blood" against Hayley because she ran away with their daughter, Hope, teased executive producer Julie Plec.
"Usually, by default, he's hurt, something scarred him, but this one literally scarred him because he got stabbed in the chest by a dagger, so I'm sure he's going to be taking that extra personally," Charles Michael Davis, who plays Marcel, told Access Hollywood.
In another sneak peek video, Dahlia reminds Klaus that he must uphold his end of the bargain in their alliance and kill his family. In turn, she promises to work with him to raise and protect baby Hope. She also warned him that she would take Hope whether or not they work together as allies.
"Everyone is trying to do what they think is right to protect the child and in doing so... it's kind of putting everyone on opposite sides of trying to keep her safe, said series star Danielle Campbell, who plays Davina, to Access Hollywood.
"And at the end of the day, it's kind of like, they all seem to be fighting the same war, but on different sides," she added.
In the meantime, while Klaus fights to get his daughter back, his unlikely ally, Dahlia, has a dark personal agenda.
"She' s always one step ahead, it seems like, with a lot of things and even when you think you figure something out with one of the characters, she's already, it seems, to have known it, so it's very complicated and interesting," Campbell said.
According to Dread Central, the synopsis for the episode reads as follows:
"After discovering that he's been betrayed by his own siblings, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) teams up with an unlikely ally and sets off on a warpath, hell bent on revenge. Amidst the news that Klaus is on the loose, Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Rebekah (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Freya (guest star Riley Voelkel) move forward with their plan to lure Dahlia (guest star Claudia Black) to the compound and take her down once and for all. Meanwhile, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) attempt to escape through the flooded bayou, even as Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) finds himself hunted by a dangerous new threat. Finally, Davina (Danielle Campbell) is presented with an offer that could allow her the chance to bring back Kol, though it will require her to make a life-altering decision."
Season 2, Episode 21 of "The Originals," "Fire With Fire," will premiere on Monday, May 4, on The CW.
