Cinco de Mayo is here, and if you happen to be in Denver, there are plenty of places to relax and revel in the historically Mexican Holiday.

At Tamayo – an upscale eatery that built up enthusiasm for May 5 by featuring a $35 bottomless margarita brunch over the weekend – there are $5 margaritas going all day.

Over at El Noa Noa, celebrators will be able to down notoriously generous pitchers of margaritas in a perfect outdoor patio setting right in the Santa Fe art district.

If you want to celebrate while sticking to your dietary needs, Blue Bonnet, known for its casual air, offers a gluten-free menu along with margaritas.

And if you are a right-wing leaning reveler, and you don’t mind listening to some dude talk about lowering taxes on a holiday that is based around Mexicans giving it to France in a 1862 battle, you might want to swing by the Colorado Hispanic Advisory Council where RNC Chairman Reince Priebus will be chowing down and talking politics.

According to the Denver Post, Fred Brown, an RNC spokesman, said, “The RNC is deeply committed to engaging the Hispanic community. That means not just showing up in an election year but making the effort year round to listen to their concerns and fight for the issues they care about.”

Steve House, the chairman of the Colorado Republican Party, said of the event, “Festivals like Cinco de Mayo provide the perfect opportunity to discuss our shared vision for a more prosperous country where everyone can succeed and provide for their families.”

After dealing with all that, you might want to hit Rio Grande for what are rumored to be the strongest margaritas in a city where, with Denver's easy access to recreational weed, there is obviously some stiff competition when it come to methods of relaxation.
