"The Daily Show" on Comedy Central made fun of the 2016 presidential candidates for using talking points on immigration reform to try to win Latino votes.

On Wednesday, "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart showed a clip of Democratic contender Hillary Clinton speaking to a predominately Hispanic high school in Las Vegas on Tuesday about giving undocumented residents living in the U.S. a pathway to citizenship.

"We can't wait any longer for a path to full and equal citizenship," Clinton said at Rancho High School in the clip.

However, Stewart suggested that the former Secretary of State is pushing for a pathway to citizenship just to win Latino votes.

Steward then invited Senior Latino Correspondent Al Madrigal back on the show to discuss how he feels about the 2016 candidates and their appeal to Latinos.

Madrigal began by admitting he was not impressed by Clinton's speech, which he called "pandering to Latinos."

"Democrats shouldn't expect to get Latino support just because they say all the right things, especially since Republicans finally have a candidate that Latinos can call their own," said Madrigal, referring to potential GOP contender Jeb Bush.

According to Madrigal, Bush can relate to Latinos more than the other candidates because he speaks fluent Spanish, married a Mexican woman and has half-Hispanic children. Referring to Bush as "El Jebe," Madrigal also joked that Bush is so committed to the cause that he has "literally married into the demographic."

Madrigal went on to mock GOP candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio for not being "real" Latinos, since they're Cuban, "a snooty subset." He added that they basically "threw away a path to citizenship for a path to the White House."

In effort to win over Latino voters, Bush addressed a university in Puerto Rico last month, reiterating his support for Puerto Rico statehood while challenging his colleagues in the Republican Party to make stronger outreach efforts to the Hispanic community.
