Celebrity Christmas Gifts 2013: What Kim Kardashian, Will Ferrell and Steve Carell Got Their Children
When you're a celebrity Christmas is a bit different. You are expected to buy lavish gifts or your loved ones and your "regular" family and friends don't ever know what to get you. You know who comes out winning in this entire situation? Celebrity kids...ohhhh yea, it's nice to have a famous family.
Kim Kardashian didn't even have to go out and buy anything for little North West because her friends in high places took good care of her. She posted pictures on her Instagram of Giuseppe shoes from Giuseppe himself, "Thank you so much Giuseppe for the amazing shoes you made for North! WE LOVE YOU @giuseppezanottiworld" Kim wrote. And on another pic of clothes for the little princess she wrote, "Thank you so much Stella for these adorable clothes for Nori! @stellamccartney xoxo". Aw so sweet, sure the outfits look adorable on Ms. West (the rest of us must save for some years in order to afford a pair of Giusseppe's LOL).
Other celebrities were pretty creative with their gifts. Funny man Steve Carell got his 12-year old daughter the best gift she could ever ask for. The "Anchorman 2" actor got her an autograph from One Direction after meeting the band on "Saturday Night Live". "She is a big [One Direction] fan", Carell told ABC News. "She'll love [the signed photo]...it's going to blow her mind".
Fellow "Anchorman 2" star Will Ferrell will be taking his three sons on a cruise for Christmas. Magnus, 9, Mattias, 6, and Axel, 3, might have also gotten new iPads since dad admits "anytime they can get their hands on an iPad, that's their thing". Ferrell also joked "I'm going to take them on a cruise, but I'm not going to let them leave the room...I've got to keep track of them".
"The View's" Sheri Shepherd is choosing to give 8-year old Jeffrey what he wants but to an extent, teaching him some control. "He wants a Kindle Fire. I am going to get him an old Kindle. He wants an iPod, I am going to give him one of my old iPods". Fergie and Josh Duhamel are being super adorable with their gift to 4-month old Axl Jack. "I think the present that he would most want is to be held all the time. I think that's really what a child wants the most," said Fergie.
Some celebrities choose to give love...what money cannot buy. Others choose love with extravagant gifts. Whatever it is, we must remember that Christmas is about family and union. But it sure is nice to be a celebrity's kid.
