Fox Network announced that the next "American Idol" season will be the show's 15th and final season, reports The Wall Street Journal.

The talent show, which started in 2002 with Ryan Seacrest as its co-host, has enjoyed a great following during its reign. The talent competition was able to get worldwide attention. "Idol" contestants who became successful artists include Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood.

But a reported decrease in viewership has been observed in the past few years, making the show's major sponsors "lose interest," too, the Journal explains.

Indeed, all good things must come to an end, but before the show bids adieu, here are some of the top Latino moments showcased in "American Idol."

1. Marc Anthony, 2011

First on the list is the sizzling number that showed the chemistry between former married couple, Marc Anthony and JLo. The performance was in May, just two months before their split was announced, notes the Daily Mail.

The "King of Salsa" showed why he is rightfully the owner of the title. He should be be given much credit due to his soulful performance and commanding presence as he sings the Nuyorican salsa, "Aguanile." Lopez, on the other hand, showed off her dancing moves. The background drum-beating also provided the right vibe for the audience to pick the rhythm.

2. Jennifer Lopez & Pitbull, 2011

JLo amazed the audience with her dancing and singing skills in her very catchy electropop song, "On the Floor."

The floor really belonged to the dancing Latina that night. Her performance was complemented with Pitbull's artistry. With the performance, no wonder Lopez's "On the Floor" single featuring Pitbull became a certified hit. The song truly paid homage to the Latin vibe of music, which Lopez intended to do, as stated on MTV.

3. Jennifer Lopez, Wisin & Yandel, 2012

Another dance fest showing JLo's expertise took place in 2012. This time JLo performed with reggaeton artists Wisin & Yandel for their rendition of "Follow the Leader."

4. Enrique Iglesias, 2011

The Latino singer-heartthrob made sparks fly on the "Idol" stage as he danced along while singing his own hits "Dirty Dancer" and "I Like It" from his 2010 album, "Euphoria." His performance made the audience dance, jump and even sing along.

5. Jennifer Lopez, 2015

JLo's unforgettable performance in March became a trending topic. Check out the video below.

Bonus: William Hung, 2004

He is no Latino, but his sincere singing of Ricky Martin's "She Bangs" during the Los Angeles auditions caught the world off guard.
