The hilarious duo is back - looking older but definitely not smarter!

The long overdue sequel to the 1994 movie, Dumb and Dumber 2 still stars the original actors for the lead roles. Lloyd Christmas will be played by Jim Carrey while Jeff Daniels will still be playing Harry Dunne.

Jim Carrey has previously withdrawn from the project but has personally confirmed his appearance as Lloyd Christmas through his Twitter account. The actor tweeted a photo of Harry's chipped tooth with the caption: "GESS HUUZ BAK BICHEZ?"

Dumb and Dumber 2, officially titled 'Dumb and dumber To' is slated for release November 14, 2014. The film is co-written and directed by brothers Bobby and Peter Farelly.

According to the Inquisitr, preparations for the movie are going well.

"It's going well. We have a great script and now we are just trying to get it made. I love the script. It's exactly like the first one. We pick up 20 years later. We explain what they've done for the last 17 or 18 years. We take off from that and it's just a lot of laughs," says Peter Farelly.

The director continued to say: "It's at Warner Bros., and right now it's being financed outside the studio, but it will be released by Warner Bros. And that's all being worked out right now. If you liked Dumb and Dumber, you'll like this because it's the same and more. It's really fun."

Dumb and Dumber 2 will revolve around the hilarious duo's quest to find Harry's child in the hopes of acquiring a new kidney.

Jennifer Lawrence will also reportedly make a special appearance on the film as the younger version of Freda Flecher, the woman with whom Harry slept with. Kathleen Turner will play the present time Freda Flecher.

J-Law is said to be a big fan of Dumb and Dumber. In fact, the actress still knows lines from the 1994 film and showcased it in the video below.
