The 9-6 Philadelphia Eagles held to Arlington, Texas to take on the 8-5 Dallas Cowboys in the biggest NFC East battle of the year.

Will Dallas be able to overcome the absence of star quarterback Tony Romo, who is out for the rest of the year with a back injury, or will red-hot Nick Foles and the Eagles soar to victory?

Either way the loser will have a long offseason full of questions. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett needs a victory to hold onto his job. Can backup QB Kyle Orton deliver for his coach? Orton hasn't started a game since his short stint with the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2011 season. Embarrassingly enough, he also lost the Denver Broncos' starting quarterback job to flameout Tim Tebow during the 2011 NFL season. Will Orton be prepared for the bright lights or will he prove to everyone that he doesn't have what it takes?

Even if Orton plays well, expect the better quarterback to be Nick Foles. He began the season for the Eagles with no expectations of being named the starter after losing the job to Michael Vick in the preseason. When Michael Vick went down with a hamstring injury during week 5 of the NFL season Nick Foles was given the keys to the offense during the second quarter against the New York Giants. He immediately asserted himself finishing with two touchdowns and a 64% completion percentage.

Foles' coming out party was in week 9 of the NFL season. He proved he was one of the leagues best quarterbacks with an NFL record tying seven-touchdown game. He could have broken the league record if Coach Chip Kelly didn't take his foot off the gas in the fourth quarter. Sure Nick Foles was passing against the Oakland Raiders, but what he did was simply historic and no one could put a damper on that. In fact Foles has had only one bad game as a starter, yet that game came against the Cowboys.

Passing is only one component of an NFL offense though. The running game should be electric as 1,000-yard rusher DeMarco Murray takes on the NFL's most exciting player, LeSean McCoy. Murray is ready for the challenge.

"I'm ready for whatever they ask me to do," said Murray. The Cowboys star was on the sidelines for the Cowboys' 17-3 victory over Philadelphia back in October because of a knee sprain.
