Fifty Shades of Grey Movie Cast, News, and Update: Dakota Johnson's Boyfriend Jealous as Production Heads to Spain?
Some readers of the Fifty Shades of Grey novel were disappointed when they found out that Dakota Johnson would play Anastasia Steele, but the actress has comfortably accepted the role and all of the naughty, revealing sex scenes that come with it. Johnson's boyfriend, on the other hand, is reportedly not as comfortable.
Reports from Star magazine claim that Jordan Masterson, 27, is not completely happy that Johnson, 24, is starring the in the highly anticipated film adaptation of E.L. James's bestselling novel.
"The attention she is getting bugs him," the Star source said.
Masterson, who is known for playing Dumptruck in ABC Family's Greek, will have to make some adjustments quickly because rumor has it that the Fifty Shades of Grey set is going to get even more steamy.
WARNING: Spoiler Alert!
According to Digital Journal, the film will have Johnson and her co-star, Jamie Dornan (who will play her seductive dominator, Christian Grey), traveling to the Canary Islands. Digital Journal cities "production staff" who says that the couple's Honeymoon scenes will be shot in romantic Tenerfe, which features golden beaches.
After the Canary Islands, production is rumored to head to Madrid where Alessandro Pronto will make a cameo. Pronto was reportedly James' inspiration for kinky billionaire, Christian Grey.
If a trip around the world doesn't send Masterson over jealousy's edge, Dornan's rumored full-frontal nude scenes could do it. Earlier this month, Star reported that Dornan would be baring it all in the movie's Red Room of Pain scenes
"Fifty Shades of Grey producers know they have to make the screen version just as steamy as the novel to make it a success," a source told the tabloid. "They can't turn it into a Disney movie."
Dana Brunetti, Fifty Shades of Grey producer, has expressed interest in making an NC-17 version of the film.
Fifty Shades of Grey will be released Feb. 13, 2015.
