Before Austin Mahone confirmed that he and Becky G are officially dating, fans only had the romantic pictures that they shared on Instagram to get by.

Apart from that, they were also spotted kissing at an airport and E! Online has the photo to prove it.

Finally, Mahone put the rumors to rest when he told MTV News that “Yeah, you could say we are dating.. It is crazy. I never had, like, a real relationship before. So, it is pretty crazy. It is great being in a relationship with someone that does the same thing you do. We understand each other. We understand what we do.”

It must be noted, however, that Mahone had previously dated Camila Cabello of Fifth Harmony. When the “Dirty Work” singer said that he has “never” been in “a real relationship,” fans were quick to speculate that he was throwing shade at his former girlfriend. However, instead of responding with a spiteful response, Cabello only said that she does “not regret anything.”

“It was my first kiss – my first love,” Cabello said, according to Sugar Scape. “It is important to learn about liking somebody and being swept away. But, it was not meant to be. I will find somebody else. It is a cycle. I love love. I am obsessed with it.”

Becky G and Mahone's relationship seemed to have blossomed while they were collaborating on Becky G's latest music video "Lovin' So Hard." "I have known him for such a long time," Becky G told E! News. "We started off as really great friends. We would always check in on each other. We would always get in the studio together. You grow up, things happen. And, here we are."

Amid Mahone’s statements that he and Becky have something "real," Becky is a bit more secretive with exactly how she feels about him. “Am I in love?” she said, when E! News asked her about her current relationship status. “I am young. I am doing what young people should do – having fun.”

But she did admit that she is "so excited" with how things have been happening for her lately. “I think it is really awesome that my fans have been so supportive along this journey, and especially right now, I am in such a happy, good place," she said. “I think everybody can see that and I think it is cool that I get to share that part.”

Becstin fans are very happy with how the “Lovin’ So Hard” music video turned out and there might be another music collaboration between the two soon.

Becky G also told E! News, “Actually, not so long ago, we were in the studio working on a song that hopefully will make it to my new album.”

“And then, we continue to make music together,” she added. “So, hopefully, it gets out for the fans to hear it. I know they are excited about it.”
