The Royals Season 1 Finale Spoilers: Eleanor Wants the Truth About her Father, Confronts Her Brother's Killer [Watch]
In the next episode of "The Royals," which is the season finale, Eleanor will spend time with the killer of her brother, Robert. Eleanor's mother revealed to her in the last episode that Robert killed himself, according to E! Online's episode recap.
Eleanor is shocked to find out that her brother would kill himself, but later in the episode she is attacked from behind in an elevator by a man named Brandon Boone. Boone tells her he has some information for her.
Boone tells her that Robert did not kill himself; he was murdered. Eleanor asks how he knows this, and he answers that he murdered him.
In the next episode, Eleanor goes to meet Boone in an alley, according to the episode's trailer. She goes to see him because she believes he might have some information for her about her father.
Jasper accompanies Eleanor to meet Boone. This is shocking because Eleanor recently had Jasper taken away from the palace when she found out he had slept with her mother.
Eleanor probably just wants to be on the safe side by bringing Jasper. After all, Boone did admit to killing her older brother.
Liam and Eleanor find out that they are not offspring from King Simon through blood tests. Liam takes this really hard and goes to the bar to drink his pain away. Liam blames his father's stabbing on himself. Through a daydream, King Simon appears in the bar shooting darts. He tells Liam that it is not his fault for the stabbing.
King Simon is still in rough shape at the palace. Queen Helena and Cyrus are monitoring him, but their intentions are still unknown. They might be worried that he could recover and ruin their plans.
The episode trailer uses the tagline "Every reign must end." But which reign? King Simon's health is still concerning and, if he ends up passing away, will the monarchy be dissolved?
This is Liam's chance to finally prove that he wants to be the next King of England. Find out Sunday on E! at 10 p.m. ET.
