Mexican-American singer/songwriter Miguel has released his sophomore album "Kaleidoscope Dream" with ByStorm/RCA Records.

The album has already been getting positive reviews.

Complex Magazine called album "the top 25 most anticipated albums of for the rest of 2012" and that Miguel is "an R&B force to be reckoned with... The momentum is undeniable."

The 11 track albumalbum features "Adorn" and "Do You..."! "Adorn" has spent 21 weeks on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart and stayed strongly at the No. 1 spot for three consecutive weeks.

The Grammy-nominated singer said he thinks his new album is "multipurpose."

"My first album was so romance-based and this album is more about like, vibe," he said in an interview with Power 105.1′s Breakfast Club. "I really really hope this album is played at like, photo shoots and inspires people to be creative and do some crazy sh-t in the bedroom like you wouldn't try [Whether it's] role playing...here's a song called vixen on my album. If you got that, that explains exactly the role playing. It could be the president and Jackie O. I've definitely done that, for sure."

Miguel's new work comes two years after his debut album "All I want is You" and he said it's not what you would expect from an R&B artist.

"R&B has gotten really lazy in the more contemporary sense of the word," Miguel said. ""There's no look, shape, color. There's no creed of what R&B is. Like I've said before it's become more like a stereotype. When you think of R&B, you think bedroom or you think sexy or R&B crooner, you know, buzz words. It's become a 'this is what it is.'"

The new album is available on iTunes,Amazon, and Miguel's Official store.
