Jailbreak iOS News: Here Are the Latest Tweaks for Cydia
The latest version of Apple's iOS could be coming very soon with iOS 8.4. There currently is not a jailbreak available for the current version of iOS 8.3 or for the upcoming iOS 8.4. Because of this, most jailbreakers are sticking with their latest jailbreak version to use tweaks.
The next major event where Apple could introduce the public version of iOS 8.4 is the WWDC in June.
Here are some of the latest tweaks that can be installed on jailbroken devices with Cydia, according to iPhoneHacks.
NoScrollWhenNewMessage helps with group messages. If a friend falls behind in a group text message session and they go to read the old messages, they will be interrupted by any new message sent. When a new message is sent, iPhone automatically scrolls the user back to the bottom of the conversation. With this free tweak, this automatic scrolling is stopped, allowing users to go back and read old messages in the conversation without being interrupted.
When adjusting the volume with the volume buttons an annoying gray box pops up with the word volume, a picture of a speaker and the current volume level.
With HUDTransparent8, that annoying gray box becomes transparent. This is especially useful if a user is watching a video and they do not want the box to get in the way of their video. HUDTransparent8 is a free tweak.
Another tweak that is designed to keep the video experience uninterrupted is NoBanner.
This tweak stops all banner notifications from coming in when a user is watching a video. Multiple text messages or alerts during a video can really get annoying and NoBanner prevents this. If there are some banner notifications that a user wants to still be allowed, they can be customized in the settings. The NoBanner tweak is available for $1.
