"Beauty and the Beast" could begin its new season with a proposal.

TV Guide reports the Season 3 debut could see Vincent (Jay Ryan) dropping to one knee to extend his hand to Catherine (Kristen Kreuk).

"It will happen very quickly and it sets the stage for the season, [which is] about their relationship moving forward and what it will take for them to get either a wedding or whatever they want," Kreuk explained. "Essentially, 'the Beasties' will be very happy with certain things."

But before the couple can enter the realm of matrimony, they first have to learn how to live with one another. Kreuk also hints that soon could be an issue for the two.

"It brings up stuff for Vincent," she added. "It's outside of his logical, conscious mind and more of a primitive [issue]. They have to deal with that and how they define their relationship if it's not in the context of bad guys. How do they exist? Can they be normal and will they be fulfilled that way?"

CarterMatt recently reported CW Network officials have decided to delay the third season premiere until June, moving it back from its original airing date of May 21, which within industry ranks is otherwise known as the day after sweeps.

While no concrete reason was given for the change, some have speculated it could be part of the network's plan to try and have more new episodes available to air over the summer and perhaps generate a wider audience.

TV Guide added with Muirfield now out of the way, "Cat and Vincent will be focusing on their relationship" throughout the season.

The two are also expected to join forces in an effort to save innocents being "used to test the boundaries of the impossible." Before all is said and done, the widening conspiracy will find Vincent "turning to the beast he carries within."
