Justin Bieber Zone & Instagram Picture: 10 Charitable Acts and Triumphs That No One Talks About
The media scrutinizes Justin Bieber way more than they praise him. But this has a lot to do with the readers who seem to not care about the articles that say positive things about the singer. Here to prove our gratitude towards the good-hearted star, are Justin's ten most charitable moments and triumphs.
Justin Bieber doesn't spend all of his time fighting paparazzi, hanging out with Brazilian escorts and stepping on flags. Bieber actually does a lot of good for people in need around the world and just making kids smile. Did you know that in 2013 Justin granted his 200th Wish for the Make-A-Wish foundation? Not 2nd, not 3rd wish, but 200th.
Since hitting the industry in 2008 Justin Bieber has proven to be very active in giving back to the world. In 2013 he continued his quest by teaming up with Pencils of Promise in Guatemala where he helped build another school. This year the "All That Matters" singer also traveled to the Phillipines to visit victims of Typhoon Yolanda, also raising over $1 million for the sufferers of the storm.
Super Belieber Kate O'Neil got in a tragic car accident on her way to a meet and greet with Justin Bieber. Bieber was so touched by Kate's will to survive that he flew to her, gave her a private show and tweeted a collage of him and her with the caption "Me and my girl Kate J she's so strong". Kate broke four ribs, fractured her spine in three places, and sustained internal bleeding and lacerations to her kidney and liver. But Kate survived the accident and was the happiest girl in the world when Justin sang to her and asked her for a kiss on the cheek, "He made me his OLLG ("One Less Lonely Girl") and sag with our heads touching and looked me in the eyes and caressed my face and asked me to kiss his cheek" Kate tweeted.
Triumphs of the 19-year old star also include winning the Diamond Award reaching 12x platinum with "Baby", making it the #1 most certified song in US music history. The "Boyfriend" singer also performed over 150 shows and visited over 40 countries during his Believe Tour. Bieber is the first artist, before the age of 19, to achieve five number one albums, also receiving the very first ever Billboard Milestone Award.
Justin also surprised fans during his "Believe" movie, taking the time to give away toys to younger fans. Check out more of Justin's "soft side" on his fan site justinbieberzone.com.
