Azealia Banks Says BET Awards Are 'Bogus,' Nicki Minaj Wins Every Year [Watch]
Azealia Banks recently took to Twitter on Monday, May 18 to slam the BET Awards and Nicki Minaj, Us Weekly reports.
The "Broke With Expensive Taste" rapper accused the BET awards of "throwing shade" at her and described the network as "bogus. "
Although BET nominated Banks for the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist category, she tweeted that she hates getting nominated for BET awards and predicted that Nicki Minaj would most likely win in that category since she appears to be a BET favorite.
Us Weekly reports that Minaj has won the BET Awards Best Female Hip-Hop Artist category for five consecutive years beginning in 2010.
Now that Minaj has been nominated again, Banks predicts that the other finalists including herself, Iggy Azalea, Dej Loaf, Tink and Trina have no chance at winning.

In addition to chastising the BET Awards, Banks also dissed Minaj and her fans, who Minaj calls "barbz."

Minaj has yet to respond to Banks' Twitter diss.
Another female rapper that Banks has feuded with and was also nominated for a BET award is Iggy Azalea.
Azalea and Banks have continued to feud on social media over the years, but their feud came to a head when Banks slammed Azalea on-air during her radio interview with Hot 97 back in February.
While speaking with Hot 97, Banks accused Azalea of appropriating black culture and being a talentless rapper.
"OK, so here's the thing with Iggy Azalea. I feel like, in this country, whenever it comes to our things like black issues or black politics or black music or whatever, there's always this like undercurrent of like 'f--k you' ... and that Iggy Azalea s--t is not better than any f-ckin' black girl that's rapping today. ... Iggy Azalea is not excellent," Banks said.
