Another year brings a new slew of gadgets and based on the speculation surrounding Apple, fans are expecting big things from the tech giant.

As the 2015 WWDC approaches, more rumors emerge regarding Apple's upcoming product upgrades. Some of the hot news items include the over-sized tablet, dubbed as the iPad Pro, the next-gen iPhone 6S and 6S Plus (sometimes called the iPhone 7), the new iOS 9 along with the highly-anticipated iMac 8K and Apple TV.

For all the anxious fans of the Cupertino-based firm, here are some updates regarding the expected products:

  • iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 7 - Apple's iPhone is always a crowd-pleaser. Following the success of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, the next-gen iPhone is expected to come with Force Touch display for improved command control, 12-MP camera, 2GB of RAM and Touch ID technology. MacWorld adds that the screen size will most likely be the same as the iPhone 6 models.
  • iPad Pro - The larger iPad Pro is expected to come in at 12.2 to 12.9 inches and targets professionals and enterprise customers. Filled with productivity functions, the larger iPad size is said to be thinner than the current iPad Air 2model and comes with 2GB of RAM, Touch ID as well as either the A8X or A9 processor, summarized MacRumor. Alleged casing leaks also pointed to an ultra HD display and dual speakers.
  • Apple TV - One of the longest running rumors surrounds the Apple TV. Cheat Sheet reported earlier that Apple was planning to create a unified, Internet-based television service that will offer both live and on-demand programs but it was believed that failure to reach agreements with cable companies delayed its roll out.
  • iMac 8K - Apple already unveiled its 27-inch iMac with Retina Display but the computer line is one that has been untouched for nearly two years, notes MacWorld. There has been speculation that Apple will introduce the iMac 8K after LG confirmed its existence but the company has yet to officially comment on the whispers.
  • iOS 9 - Typically, the WWDC is the stage for OS unveils and the upcoming 2015 event is expected to be no different. Leaks have been pouring in over the iOS 9 and some rumored specs of the new software includes a new font which is similar to the one used for the Apple Watch. In addition, Gizmodo wrote there is a rumored new Home App, upgraded Siri, Beats music service and much more.

Apple's 2015 WWDC will take place on June 8 to 12 in San Francisco.
