Rap star Lil Boosie was forced to cut short his New York City performance Tuesday night after becoming ill and being rushed to the hospital.

Boosie was performing verses off his K Camp's remix to "Cut Her Off" at a sold-out Webster Hall, when Billboard reports he began feeling ill and rushed off the stage.

HotNewHipHop also reported the rapper was seen vomiting as he exited the stage and was immediately transported to the hospital. Before he even took the stage, Power 105.1 Breakfast Club's DJs Envy and Angela Yee, the show's host, had told the crowd the rapper had not been feeling well but had decided to perform for his fans anyway.

A rep for the hip hop star later told Billboard that he had not been feeling well for some time and as he attempted to perform his symptoms got progressively worse and forced him to cut short the performance. The Louisiana rapper ran into a similar health scare back in February when a bout of dehydration forced him to cancel a performance in North Carolina.

Boosie later told TMZ of the North Carolina incident he started feeling weak while on his way to the show, prompting him to stop at a nearby hospital for a checkup where doctors advised him to rest and hooked him up to intravenous fluids.

HotNewHipHop adds Boosie was in New York to celebrate and promote the upcoming release of his second album "Touchdown 2 Cause Hell."

Born Torrence Hatch, the 32-year-old "Betrayed" rapper formerly served five years in the Louisiana State Penitentiary on a drug conviction, HollywoodLife reports. He was released four years early in March of 2014 and soon thereafter changed his name to Boosie Badazz.
