Booze does not seem to sit well with the Queen of Pop's fans - at least not when it's her 13-year old son grabbing a hold of the bottle!

The pop star has reportedly welcomed the New Year at the Swiss Alps, NY Daily News reports. And she only wanted to share a bit of their celebration by posting a photo of her son, Rocco Ritchie along with his two pals.

The only downside is that each of them was holding up a bottle of booze.

"The party has just begun! Bring it! 2014," she captioned the photo.

Followers of Madonna's Instagram account were quick to react non-pleasantly while others remained calm amidst the post.

@madre316 @madonna my son was killed by a underage drinker! I know this must be all fun and a joke and games to you....SMH... but as a parent who no longer has her son with her its very disappointing to see the picture young kids holding up liquor bottles its very heartbreaking

With the numerous reactions the photo has garnered, Madonna responded to the bashers and the overly cautious with another post captioned:

"No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor! Don't start the year off with judgement!"
