The Season 6 finale of "The Good Wife" was filled with lots of emotion as fans said goodbye to Archie Panjabi's beloved character, Kalinda.

During the finale, which was titled "Wanna Partner?" Alicia and her former friend and confidant, Kalinda, met at a bar and shared two shots of tequila right before Kalinda told her that she was leaving. The old friends shared a simple and sincere exchange which marked the first time that the private investigator and Alicia appeared in the same scene in two years, following their fallout after Alicia found out that Kalinda had slept with her husband, Peter, notes TVLine.

However, it was revealed that the two actresses actually did not film their final scene of the show together in the same room, reports CarterMatt.

When questioned about whether or not Alicia and Kalinda's final scene together was computer generated, Panjabi did not deny that they she and series star Julianna Margulies shot it separately.

"All I can say is this: the decision making process is not something I'm privy to," Panjabi told E! News while at the premiere of her new movie, "San Andreas."

However, she did admit "it was hard to say goodbye."

Her decision to leave after Season 6 came two years ago.

The 42-year-old actress also shot down any hope that her character will return in the future. "I don't think so," she said. "She came in as a mystery and left as a mystery."

On the other hand, "The Good Wife" creators Robert and Michelle King revealed that they would be overjoyed if Panjabi decided to come back to the show.

"[The door] is always open," Robert told E! "Are you kidding? Archie Panjabi is one of the most talented actresses we've worked with. She's so good. We would love to have her back."
