Kellan Lutz finally puts us out of our speculations and addresses the Miley Cyrus dating rumors. He reveals some very relevant information to Ryan Seacrest that will end this mystery. Well, to an extent, because friendship does lead to romance in most cases.

Maybe Miley is just not his type but Kellan Lutz, 28, stands behind his claim that he is "happily single". During a phone interview to promote his new film Hercules with On Air with Ryan Seacrest Lutz was asked the million-dollar question. "Are we dating? No ... these rumors are hilarious," Kellan told Ryan.

The Hercules star explains that even though him and the "Wrecking Ball" singer do often hang out, their relationship statuses remain as single. "It just makes me laugh ... I've been friends with Miley for like six years. She's a great girl ... we are friends [and] we run in the same circle," the actor said.

In the same circle? If Kellan is referring to the fact that he is friends with Miley's ex-fiancée Liam Hemsworth, that circle has been broken. Miley admits that she doesn't have many celebrity friends and, well, we can't say we have seen her hanging out with many celebs other than Kellan. So... we are still skeptical about that comment but I guess we will take the rest for now.

Kellan also told Ryan that he is "happily single" and "not looking" for a relationship right now.  "I'm enjoying life and traveling quite a bit... there's no real time to find the one" Lutz added. Again, just because Miley and Kellan aren't in an official relationship doesn't mean they aren't "hooking up." Sorry Kellan, we don't buy it.

The Legend of Hercules hits theaters on Jan. 10 and the rest of the Miley and Kellan saga continues. They are friends so we will continue to question their relationship as we keep seeing pictures of them hanging out. Aren't we so immature for just not believing that two people of the opposite sex can simply just be friends? Oh well, it's more fun this way.
