"Dark Sky" rapper Big Sean still appears to be carrying a torch for ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande.

Almost two months after they announced their messy breakup, the 27-year-old hip-hop star took to Instagram this week to post the heartfelt message, "Sometime I close my eyes n pretend it's just me n u."

 According to Hollywood Life, the pair's hectic schedules contributed mightily to the demise of their relationship, but the website adds if "The Love Me Harder" singer had put up more of a fight when Sean decided to call it quits after just eight months he would have been more than happy for the two to work to find a way to save their union.

Sean seems to have found a way to completely bring himself down from the hurt and anger he seemed to feel when they first split, a time when he bashed Ariana to friends and his inner circle as "immature and selfish."

At that point, Hollywood Life previously reported some were even speculating that the two may never talk again. Much of the tension in the relationship dates back to February, when Grande first failed to appear at his big show at the House of Blues in West Hollywood because she was preparing for the upcoming Grammys.

Next up came the Justin Bieber incident, where the two stars overly indulged in a couple exhibitions of PDA while on stage at a couple of her concerts.

Meanwhile, Ariana was rumored to already be angry over Sean's release of a graphic new song where he referenced her "billion dollar p*ssy."

Reportedly, all the loneliness and confusion recently had Sean reaching out to ex Naya Rivera, but she's already married with a child on the way.
