50 Cent has always been a marketing genius, and he continues to demonstrate his business acumen with his latest venture: he's teamed up with George Lucas to create a "Star Wars"-inspired line of SMS Headphones!

According to Thisis50.com, there are four special editions of SMS headphones that will be made available: Boba Fett, Stormtrooper, Rebel Alliance, and Imperial Alliance. These headphones will come with a certificate of authenticity from Lucasfilm to ensure their legitimacy. This new range of headphones will only be made available for a limited time only -- beginning in the spring time -- and will also come with some in-the-box Star Wars goodies (possibly hints on some characters to promote the upcoming Episode 7!). The headphones will retail for about $200.

In a press release on TheForce.net, 50 Cent -- real name: Curtis Jackson -- explained why he chose to co-brand his line with Star Wars. "I've been a fan of Star Wars since I was a kid, so working with Lucasfilm to create this line of headphones was a really cool experience," said 50 Cent, CEO of SMS Audio. "Star Wars has a huge following of dedicated fans and I'm excited to welcome them into the SMS Audio family."

The press release goes on to detail what fans of the movie can expect from their limited-edition SMS headphones: "The headphones will come with a Star Wars-branded removable cable with three-click microphone, soft touch cleaning cloth and certificate of authenticity, along with a limited edition Star Wars poster and stickers. The Star Wars STREET by 50 On-Ear Wired headphones will be available for purchase at SMSAudio.com in Q2 2014 for MSRP $179.95."

50 Cent is currently at the CES, signing autographs and promoting the new line of Star Wars headphones. For more information about the headphones -- and its partnership with Feeding America -- visit https://www.smsaudio.com
