"Jurassic World" will arrive in theaters soon, and talks about the franchise's next installment are already buzzing.

The film's director, Colin Trevorrow, provided a few hints for his fans, in an interview with Bad Taste in one of the press tours for "Jurassic World."

Coming Soon published a translation of the interview wherein Treverrow shared an update on what the next movie will be like.

He said, “'Jurassic Park' is like ‘Star Wars.’ Different directors can give a different taste to each movie. I would be involved in some way, but not as director. Universal and I definitely talked about sequels a lot. We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic. Something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story.”

Fourteen years have passed since the last “Jurassic Park” movie made it to the big screens. Fans of the internationally famous, iconic dinosaur amusement parks are geared for another adventure with the story’s classic creatures, such as raptors, and the new hybrid dinosaur, the Diabolus Rex.

Hype and anticipation have been building up for “Jurassic World,” especially since it will be hitting theaters in a couple of days. However, Screen Rant noted that the film seemed to have launched a marketing campaign based on nostalgia. Majority of the advertisements for the upcoming Universal project featured retreading of the iconic moments that were depicted in the 1993 original “Jurassic Park” film in an attempt to make everything more appealing to the public.

Although Trevorrow’s take on the “Jurassic Park” franchise is expected to be amazing and spot-on with what its fans want to see on the big screen, the studio’s decision to bring in a new voice for the fifth movie might be what the upcoming project needs to feature a fresh angle.

"Jurassic World" will hit theaters on June 12, 2015. It stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus and Andy Buckley.

The film, which had its world premiere in Paris, was received well by some fans.

Universal Pictures has recently uploaded a new featurette about the film, which can be viewed below. More information and updates can be found on the "Jurassic World" website.
